Our Story
Travis and Leanne met at Onderstepoort in 2018, when Leanne was in her final year of veterinary nursing and Travis was beginning his clinical years as a veterinary student.
The years that followed were wonderfully full, and at times slightly chaotic. Leanne moved to Hatfield campus to begin a new degree, while Travis graduated from Onderstepoort and relocated to Pietermaritzburg for community service. There were COVID lockdowns, long distance stretches, Travis starting a private practice position in Nelspruit while Leanne continued studying in Pretoria, and eventually, the big move up to Zimbabwe.
Through every move, every challenge, and every season of change, one thing remained constant, their love for each other never wavered.
Then, on a hot October afternoon in the Matopos, Travis got down on one knee and asked Leanne to be his wife, beginning the next chapter of our greatest adventure yet.
